With over 90,000 visitors each year and more than 14,000 people involved in our Participation work, Salisbury Playhouse is the creative heartbeat of the region.

Salisbury Playhouse is a registered charity, costing over £2.5m to run each year. Over £1m of this is generated in ticket sales, and we receive generous support from Arts Council England and Wiltshire Council. The remainder is raised through the support of individuals, businesses and trusts.

To continue producing high quality productions on our stages, and to extend our work in the community, we need your help.

If you enjoy what we do, please consider making a donation, however small, to the Playhouse. And remember, a little really does go a long way: 

Donating £5 pays costume laundry for a week.

Donating £20 rents a piece of furniture for a week's production.

Donating £30 purchases two lamps for theatre spotlights.

Donating £50 pays for a Stage '65 Arts Award bursary.

Gift Aid It

If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid allows you to increase the value of your gift without paying a penny more.  For every £1 you give, we can claim an additional 25p from the Inland Revenue. By choosing to make your donation under the Gift Aid scheme, you understand that you must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the charity reclaims on your donation in the tax year.

Please note: You may cancel your Gift Aid declaration at any time by notifying Salisbury Playhouse. If, in the future, your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that Salisbury Playhouse reclaims, you must cancel your declaration. If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return. Please notify Salisbury Playhouse if you change your name or address.
