Job Vacancies

Salisbury Playhouse has vacancies for the following positions:

Summer Stage Assistant 2013

Summer Stage is an exciting theatre project where 25 young people take part in a two week rehearsal process, working with professionals from Salisbury Playhouse and Salisbury Arts Centre to create a brand new performance.  Summer Stage benefits from the support of a number of Work Placement posts.

This project is an opportunity for young people to learn new skills in theatre, music and movement. As part of the creative team you will assist both the professionals and younger members to work towards creating a performance based around a specific theme.

This year we are inviting potential placement applicants to tell us about their skills and how Summer Stage would benefit from them. You must be 18 or over to apply for a placement and demonstrate a keen interest in theatre and an interest in a specific skill.

Previous roles have included Assistant Director, Production Assistant, Music and Sound Assistant, Marketing and Media Assistant.

This year, Salisbury Playhouse and Salisbury Arts Centre are also running Mini Summer Stage for 7-10 year olds for one week. In this week you will work with 20 young people towards creating a curtain raiser for the Summer Stage project at Salisbury Arts Centre.
